Happy New Year!!

Well a whole year gone... where did the time go? I cannot even believe that 2011 will be here in about eight hours!! Better start thinking of your New Year's resolution (if you make those, lol)! Anyway, hope everyone has a great New Year filled with lots of happiness!! I will be busy scrapping tomorrow, I am trying to get a book listed by Sunday night... I really love the way the book is looking and if I have time, I will share a photo tomorrow :0)

Have fun tonight everyone!!

Christmas album complete!

I have finally finished this album! I am not sure why it took me so long, but so glad to have it listed on ebay. There are a few photos below, but the rest you see here. I am loving the paper from Teresa Collins. Not only is the paper beautiful, but the quality is fabulous -- just makes me happy :o)

Lots of different flowers, Prima roses, Maya Road velvet and the green resin (really like those)!

This trim is gorgeous!! I am not sure who makes it... think it could be Webster's Pages or
Fancy Pants.

some glittery green and silver picks, a little sparkle is always a good thing :o)

I was really hoping to get another holiday album done, just not sure there is enough time before Christmas. The time is ticking down... I may have time to squeeze in a layout, but not sure.
Hope everyone has a great week and gets some time to scrap!!

candy cane goodness

I have been so busy with all things holiday that I have fallen behind on my posting. I wanted to share this layout that I have up for auction on ebay (see all pics here). I love this "Believe" layout with all it's candy cane goodness :o) I used another Martha Stewart Around the Edge punch -- I think I could buy everyone of these! I thought that the punch really mimicked the swirls on the green ornament.

Lots of sparkle on this one and some sugared fruit picks :o)

I am still working on a Christmas album (almost done) and I am hoping to have it listed on ebay by Sunday night. I will try and give a sneak peek here tomorrow of the cover. The album is really beautiful... I used Teresa Collins Noel line, just gorgeous paper!
Hope everyone has a happy week. Stay warm, it is freezing here!

Christmas crafting

I am well into my Christmas crafting! I have so many projects that I want to complete for ebay and two custom orders -- yikes. Hope I can fit it all in before Christmas. All my shopping and decorating still needs to be done as well (I better get moving). Anyway, I wanted to take a minute and share two listings I have this week on ebay. The first is this adorable mini album titled "Believe" -- you can see the entire book here. I just love this vintage style paper from Pink Paislee... their products do not disappoint!!

The next is this layout that I created with Webster's Pages paper, another wonderful company with the most amazing papers! I have added beautiful Prima flowers, berries and some glittery leaves -- this layout makes me happy :-) See more photos of it here.

I will be posting more items in the coming weeks, keep checking back! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

time for some green and red!

I have cleared my desk of all the Autumn colors and have started some of my Christmas projects! I have so many ideas in my head and wish that I could work faster to get them all done :0) Here is a layout that I have listed right now on ebay (see all the photos here). I do love the traditional green and red colors, and the music note paper is just perfect!! I have also been using a few of my new Martha Stewart - Around the Page punches (this one is my very favorite). I will be adding some more of them to my Christmas list :0) This page is really beautiful and would be great in an easel on a shelf or framed in a shadow box! Keep checking back on ebay for more holiday listings.

November 15th?

So, I am wondering how it is, that it is already November 15th? Time seems to be flying by -- I wanted to stop and take a minute and post some photos I have taken in the past few weeks. I love to take snapshots around the house and scrap them from time to time, just so my kids can see what our lives looked like! And since I had been thinking about this lately and have been so inspired by all the Fall colors... I thought of the idea for this little mini album
(see it on ebay here).

Love this fuzzy spider!

These pumkins have now been carved, but I could not bare to touch the white one -- lol!

Julia collected all of these on our nature walk one day. She made a "leaf" arrangement with them :o)

A little pumpkin farm outing.

I hope everyone has a fabulous week!

a little eye candy

For my birthday my dear sister in law gave me a gift card to my favorite scrapbook store. So on Sunday I made a little visit to our not so local store (it is about an hour away) and I thought I would share a few photos of what came home with me. TRIMS! They had so many beautiful ones to choose from, I could have bought them all! The red velvet, and the pink and white small roses are Maya Road. I honestly cannot tell you who the rest are made by. They had already been trimmed and hung out for sale. I do think the pink and cream scalloped lace are Fancy Pants. Anyway, love them all! I have so many ideas spinning in my head and I can't wait to use them!

These Maya Road roses are just too pretty!!

I also picked up the new Echo Park Everybody Loves Christmas paper... just really fun bright colors, thought this would make a really cute mini album!

Here are a few other miscellaneous papers I picked up and a few embellishments.

How cute is this little chipboard slider by LYB? Think I will be working this into a page. Alright, I better get working -- lol!

Halloween countdown

Halloween is just around the corner and my kids can hardly wait! This week will be filled with a preschool Halloween parade and party, last minute costume adjustments, and preparing lots of spooky food for our Halloween block party. So with all this black, orange and spidery inspiration around, I thought I would squeeze in a Halloween layout for ebay. I have shared a few photos below, but you can see the rest on ebay here. I really tried to make this have a elegant feel which is not super easy with Halloween -- lol! There are a few fun little embellishments like a spider and a sequenced witch's hat, which I just love! I have really been making very three dimensional layouts lately so this would be great in a shadow box or you could put it in an easel and placed on a shelf!

I have also listed a beautiful mini album in honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I know it seems a bit soon, but really is only weeks away. This season of giving thanks always gets me thinking of everything that I am grateful for, and for me, like most of you, it is my family! I just love this title, "Count your Blessings" and thought it would great with a few fabulous family photos! Here is a little sneak peek of the front and you can see the whole album on ebay.
Hope everyone has a great week!

Fall weather has arrived

We have had some nice Fall temperatures for about a week now and I am LOVING it! Fall is really my favorite season... sweaters, pumpkins, crisp cool air, wonderful color all around. With all this great inspiration in front of me, I have been quite busy with all my Fall scrapping. I never had a chance to post my "Blessings" album (just sold it on ebay) -- I loved using all the new Teresa Collins paper on it! I have listed two layouts this week on ebay. The first is a Autumn/family layout -- I used MME paper, beautiful acrylic berries, a vintage doily and a pretty little locket charm. I have posted a few photos below, but you can see more pictures on ebay here.
Would be beautiful displayed in an easel!

The other layout is a Christmas memories page.... I know Christmas is a bit off, but I could not resist using all these materials! I love the musical notes paper (Teresa Collins, Noel line), the glittery goodness and all the rich deep colors -- this page has so many goodies on it!! You can see even more photos of this layout on ebay here.

I really loved making both of the layouts. They would be perfect framed or could be placed in an easel and displayed. If I can find the time, I will be making them for my family (fingers crossed-lol). Today I am starting a new book for ebay (another Fall inspired book) and I am hoping to have it listed early next week. If you like my auctions, please keep an eye on them as I will have many holiday things coming!

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful fall day!

happiness

I finished another layout today (yay)! I will be listing this later tonight, so I will post the ebay link then. Anyway, I really love the way this came out -- the colors are so nice, very Fall like. The damask paper is MME and I could use this over and over -- love this sheet of paper! I really loaded this up with lots of goodies :-) Enjoy, and I will share the link in a bit!

Almost forgot... I wanted to post this days ago when I listed it on ebay. It is up on Thursday night and if you would like you can see the entire book here. Enjoy!

CHA goodness!

The ups man came today and brought me some new CHA summer products (big smile)!! I can hardly wait to use these two new lines from Teresa Collins (Giving Thanks and Noel). Love the rich colors and patterns and I love all the chipboard elements she offers. They can really be used with so many other lines not just her own, last through many projects, and are just beautiful. Anyway, I am so tempted to start something today with all this new stuff!! However, I am working on a new Halloween book (trying to get it done by tomorrow). Once that is complete and listed on ebay I can start using all my new products :0) Happy scrapping!!

all hallows eve

I finally finished my first Halloween book of the season! It seems like this one has taken a while, but I have been busy with a graphics job and this kept getting pushed aside. Anyway, it is done and I love the way it came out :-) I really love this paper for My Mind's Eye... just beautiful muted fall colors. I did throw in some bright orange -- I love the way that colors pops on some of the pages. I really tried to use a lot of different textures on this and I am loving the Maya Road velvet!! Anyway, this is just a peak you can see the whole book on ebay right here. Enjoy the weekend everyone!

TWAG!!!

OK, so I am very excited to announce that I am now part of The Working Artist Group (TWAG) design team on ebay -- yay!! I was invited to join and could not pass up this amazing opportunity! I have been selling on ebay for almost a year now and was thinking of sending in some applications to different teams, so this was just great timing. You can now search my work and all the other wonderful designers on this team by typing TWAG in the ebay search bar (click here to see what our team currently has listed). Thanks again ladies!!

keeping busy

I am falling a little behind on the blog... it has been a really busy week so far. I have been doing some freelance graphic design work... logo design, business cards, letterhead, brochure and my first website design -- very exciting! Anyway, I have been working, which is a good thing :o) But, before I forget, I have a beautiful 12x12 page listed on ebay this week (see it here) and it is almost up! I am finishing up my first Halloween book today for ebay (hoping to get that up tomorrow) and then have more projects to start (yikes). There are so many great new products out from summer CHA and I have been waiting for the UPS man to come to my house with some of them -- lol! OK, back to work for me -- have a great rest of the week everyone!

birthday, back to school & baby book

My baby girl turned 10 on the 29th, gosh time is flying. I thought I would share a few photos from her Justin Bieber pool party (LOL)!

the whole gang

This was my best attempt at a Justin cake, with a little paper crafting thrown in!

some fun in the activity pool/lazy river

Then it was back to school on Monday! The exclamation point was for me :-)

I finished up the custom baby book today. This book is made by Doodlebug Designs and has this cute window on the front. I really like the way it opens and exposes the page again with a little less embellishments.

I am working on a Halloween book for ebay and some other custom work this week. Happy scrapping :-)

life stories

I have had the MME Life Stories paper for almost a year and thought it was time to use it. I love this paper, but it is very monochromatic and I was struggling to make it have a little contrast. This is what I came up with -- I really tried to pull all of the colors out of the paper.

Anyway, I really love this little mini... just so cute! And the title, "always remember" can really work with any photos. You can see the entire book on ebay here. Today, I am working on a custom baby girl book and then I will be jumping in to all my new Halloween and fall items to make a few creations for ebay (keep watching)!
