a little eye candy

For my birthday my dear sister in law gave me a gift card to my favorite scrapbook store. So on Sunday I made a little visit to our not so local store (it is about an hour away) and I thought I would share a few photos of what came home with me. TRIMS! They had so many beautiful ones to choose from, I could have bought them all! The red velvet, and the pink and white small roses are Maya Road. I honestly cannot tell you who the rest are made by. They had already been trimmed and hung out for sale. I do think the pink and cream scalloped lace are Fancy Pants. Anyway, love them all! I have so many ideas spinning in my head and I can't wait to use them!

These Maya Road roses are just too pretty!!

I also picked up the new Echo Park Everybody Loves Christmas paper... just really fun bright colors, thought this would make a really cute mini album!

Here are a few other miscellaneous papers I picked up and a few embellishments.

How cute is this little chipboard slider by LYB? Think I will be working this into a page. Alright, I better get working -- lol!

Halloween countdown

Halloween is just around the corner and my kids can hardly wait! This week will be filled with a preschool Halloween parade and party, last minute costume adjustments, and preparing lots of spooky food for our Halloween block party. So with all this black, orange and spidery inspiration around, I thought I would squeeze in a Halloween layout for ebay. I have shared a few photos below, but you can see the rest on ebay here. I really tried to make this have a elegant feel which is not super easy with Halloween -- lol! There are a few fun little embellishments like a spider and a sequenced witch's hat, which I just love! I have really been making very three dimensional layouts lately so this would be great in a shadow box or you could put it in an easel and placed on a shelf!

I have also listed a beautiful mini album in honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I know it seems a bit soon, but really is only weeks away. This season of giving thanks always gets me thinking of everything that I am grateful for, and for me, like most of you, it is my family! I just love this title, "Count your Blessings" and thought it would great with a few fabulous family photos! Here is a little sneak peek of the front and you can see the whole album on ebay.
Hope everyone has a great week!

Fall weather has arrived

We have had some nice Fall temperatures for about a week now and I am LOVING it! Fall is really my favorite season... sweaters, pumpkins, crisp cool air, wonderful color all around. With all this great inspiration in front of me, I have been quite busy with all my Fall scrapping. I never had a chance to post my "Blessings" album (just sold it on ebay) -- I loved using all the new Teresa Collins paper on it! I have listed two layouts this week on ebay. The first is a Autumn/family layout -- I used MME paper, beautiful acrylic berries, a vintage doily and a pretty little locket charm. I have posted a few photos below, but you can see more pictures on ebay here.
Would be beautiful displayed in an easel!

The other layout is a Christmas memories page.... I know Christmas is a bit off, but I could not resist using all these materials! I love the musical notes paper (Teresa Collins, Noel line), the glittery goodness and all the rich deep colors -- this page has so many goodies on it!! You can see even more photos of this layout on ebay here.

I really loved making both of the layouts. They would be perfect framed or could be placed in an easel and displayed. If I can find the time, I will be making them for my family (fingers crossed-lol). Today I am starting a new book for ebay (another Fall inspired book) and I am hoping to have it listed early next week. If you like my auctions, please keep an eye on them as I will have many holiday things coming!

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful fall day!
