warming up!

Well it is not spring here yet, but it was sunny and warmed up a bit yesterday! A far cry from last week... this is what my backyard looked like after the big snow. The girls loved it, but not our trees so much :o( We thought for sure that some of the branches were going to snap from all the heavy snow and ice. My ten year old thought she would help knock all the snow off these huge trees with her little broom, lol!! So sweet for trying!! Anyway, while I wait for the 70 degree weather, I have been staying indoors and scrapping. I just completed an album to list Wednesday or Thursday night on ebay. I used some new paper from Basic Grey called Curio which I have had in my stash for a few months now. Glad I finally had a chance to use it. As always Basic Grey has such beautiful paper!

Check out this little chunky mini if you are interested on ebay. Only a few more days left on this shabby chic love album!!

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the week!!

finally friday

Well, it has been a long week here at our house. The kids were off Monday and Tuesday for teacher professional days and then Wednesday, Thursday and yes again today, Friday, for snow! I love my girls dearly, but am in need of a quiet break, lol! I have been trying to fit some scrapping time in, but haven't gotten too far on my next book. Still deciding on paper and theme. I am thinking I could do one more love book before Valentines day. At any rate, I will be working this weekend and will have something to list on ebay early next week. Speaking of ebay... I am really proud of the album I have listed now, I posted a few photo below (see all the pictures here).

This one took me a great deal of time. Just the cover alone took hours to piece together! I love the lace that goes around the front and back cover. Not sure why I didn't think of that earlier!

This album is very chunky which I love, just full of lots of goodness :0) I am loving the beautiful little charm!

I used a combination of papers trying to get a vintage look. I also added some music notes paper another fave of mine!!

I put lots of gorgeous trim through out the album and added pearls to it one by one, lol!
Alright, I am going to get my girls occupied and escape to the scrapbook room :o)
Happy weekend!!

sweet Valentine listings

I have been busy crafting the last two weeks and using up all of my Valentines products. I seriously have been living in my craft room, lol! Just wanted to share the link to my current listings... the first is a mini album I made with Echo Park's Be Mine line, so in love with this paper :0) Love the colors too, I am so a pink kind of girl!! Here a few photos and you see the the entire album here.

This shabby chic "Forever" page is almost up on ebay (see more pictures here). Love the soft colors and the beautiful blossom, yum!! I have collected quite a few of the "around the edge" punches by Martha Stewart. I love the delicate look of this one!

I have a few more Valentine projects to squeeze in, so keeping watching! Happy scrapping!!

a little love

Well with the holidays behind us, thought is was time to clear my desk of all the Christmas supplies (which I am still in the process of doing). And I know that Valentine's Day is a bit off, but I couldn't help myself -- lol! I really just wanted to work with some new fresh colors :o) Anyway, this is the first album I have done in a few weeks for ebay. Here are a few photos to look at and you can see the rest on ebay here.

I used Pink Paislee's Sweetness paper line... I wasn't sure I was going to love this paper, but was so happy with it and the way the album turned out!

I am in love with these flowers!! The larger ones are the Recollections brand at Michaels, they are just gorgeous and perfect in every way :o)

I added a few Jenni Bowlin butterflies through out the album which then prompted me to go buy a few butterfly punches!!

Love the little mini rose trim from Maya Road, I need to make sure I save some of that for personal scrapping :o)

I will be listing a few more Valentine albums on ebay in the coming weeks and a few new layouts also -- keep watching!

Happy New Year!!

Well a whole year gone... where did the time go? I cannot even believe that 2011 will be here in about eight hours!! Better start thinking of your New Year's resolution (if you make those, lol)! Anyway, hope everyone has a great New Year filled with lots of happiness!! I will be busy scrapping tomorrow, I am trying to get a book listed by Sunday night... I really love the way the book is looking and if I have time, I will share a photo tomorrow :0)

Have fun tonight everyone!!

Christmas album complete!

I have finally finished this album! I am not sure why it took me so long, but so glad to have it listed on ebay. There are a few photos below, but the rest you see here. I am loving the paper from Teresa Collins. Not only is the paper beautiful, but the quality is fabulous -- just makes me happy :o)

Lots of different flowers, Prima roses, Maya Road velvet and the green resin (really like those)!

This trim is gorgeous!! I am not sure who makes it... think it could be Webster's Pages or
Fancy Pants.

some glittery green and silver picks, a little sparkle is always a good thing :o)

I was really hoping to get another holiday album done, just not sure there is enough time before Christmas. The time is ticking down... I may have time to squeeze in a layout, but not sure.
Hope everyone has a great week and gets some time to scrap!!

candy cane goodness

I have been so busy with all things holiday that I have fallen behind on my posting. I wanted to share this layout that I have up for auction on ebay (see all pics here). I love this "Believe" layout with all it's candy cane goodness :o) I used another Martha Stewart Around the Edge punch -- I think I could buy everyone of these! I thought that the punch really mimicked the swirls on the green ornament.

Lots of sparkle on this one and some sugared fruit picks :o)

I am still working on a Christmas album (almost done) and I am hoping to have it listed on ebay by Sunday night. I will try and give a sneak peek here tomorrow of the cover. The album is really beautiful... I used Teresa Collins Noel line, just gorgeous paper!
Hope everyone has a happy week. Stay warm, it is freezing here!
