summer vacation mode

I have spent the last week and a half trying to get into the summer schedule (a.k.a. keeping the kids busy -- lol)! We took them to the beach for a little mini vacation and have been spending lots of time at out pool. At any rate, I have been struggling to get my scrapping projects done. I am finishing up a custom book this weekend and will be starting a new ebay book (hope to have that up soon). I will post some pictures when I finish. Alright, have a great weekend everyone!!

2 days left

I will be enjoying the next two days of quiet... my daughter's last day of school is tomorrow -- yikes! While I will really enjoy spending more time with her, it is always a bit more hectic with both girls home. We will be spending lots of days at the pool, a week at the beach and maybe a trip to Hershey Park. We will also be sneaking a little trip to the beach this week -- so really looking forward to that and all the summer memories we will make. And speaking of memories... I listed another book on Ebay just the perfect place for some of your summer vacation photos. I posted a photo here, but you can see the whole book on Ebay here Alright, hope everyone has a great week!

layouts

Let me start by saying these are not my favorite or best layouts, but they are scrapped -- lol! Those of you who know me know the time and planning that go in to my layouts (I do drive them a bit crazy)! I just sat down no sketches and scrapped. I usually don't use so many pictures on a page -- just the way it worked out. Anyway, this is what I created. Also, I will post some pictures of my next ebay book tomorrow. Enjoy!

Thursday?

This week is flying by, and it has been a busy one... school picnic Monday, fieldtrip to the DC Zoo on Wednesday, a little break today, and then tomorrow a volunteer breakfast back up at my daughter's school. Phew, I am tired just thinking about it!! Anyway, I had an interesting scrapbook weekend or should I say abbreviated one.... it started last Thursday with a phone call from my husband that he had pulled his back out (lifting a patient)!! He was ok, but in tons of pain:( I usually leave Friday morning and don't come home until Sunday late afternoon. There was no way I could have left him Friday to take care of two girls. Luckily, scrapbook weekend was not too far from me this year, so I met up with the girls Saturday at noon. It was a great 24 hours!! A trip to the scrapbook store, PF Changs for a late lunch and back to the house for movies and all night scrapping! Somewhat different this year, but still so much fun -- and thanks to my honey for keeping the girls with a not so great back. At any rate, I will post some of my pages that I did. I think I had three double page spreads and one 12x12 -- that comes to seven pages!! Not too bad for me, I am not the fastest scrapper -- lol!!! Alright, I will post the pages soon and also a peek at another ebay book I just finished -- stay tuned.

scrapbook weekend!!!

I have been quite busy this week creating stuff! A custom graduation book (I posted a few photos to share), and two ribbon canvases. I still have to make a custom family book which will have to wait till next week because.... this weekend is my annual scrapbook weekend!!!! Can you tell that I am excited? I do this once a year with a few good friends, who of course, love to scrap. It is such a fun time and gives me a chance to catch up with my girls and on some of my own personal scrapping. Since I started selling my books I haven't had much time to scrap my family -- so really looking forward to this weekend. : ) OK, if I have time later I will post the canvases.
